Here is unit folded for storage. Note the thumb wheel in the center for adjusting the optics for eye spacing.
The unit is unfolded and resting upside down on the table. The brow pad is in the center near the table, there is a moveable link to the optical assembly, and the eyepieces are fitted with the light shields suitable for users wearing glasses.
The unit is upside down on the table. The bud-type ear piece is clipped to the temple piece. It can be removed and put into the ear directly. The hinge and side piece are reasonably rugged.
The rear strap is soft leather adjusted through a loop and fastened with Velcro.
The control unit accepts 9 volt power from a wall transformer unit (not shown) or from a camcorder-like battery (not supplied). A standard PC video connector is the input for 600 x 800 SVGA video.
Alternative inputs are NTCS or PAL video, S-VHS video, and
stereo audio via 1.5 mm plug.
Also included: (1) RCA-type video and audio cables, (2) PC video cable (3) SCART cables, (4) RCA to 1.5 mm audio plug, (5) S-VHS cable, (6) alternate eye piece light shields for non-eyeglass wearers.
