September 11, 2006, Hannover, Germany  -- AuSIM announces the sale of select key technology intellectual properties, including the simulation models and signal processing underlying AuSIM3D® to Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG in Hannover, Germany.  None of AuSIM's trademarks or brands were sold.  Sennheiser will privately brand its derivations of the technology.  AuSIM receives a reciprocating royalty-bearing license-back to all technology, and will continue to operate and sell products as before. 

The parties have split the market such that Sennheiser is responsible for markets requiring larger product volumes, or where Sennheiser is well-established (i.e. aviation).  This market split is valid for both direct product sales and indirect sales through technology licensing. 

The agreement is the culmination of a relationship tracing back to Crystal River Engineering exclusively OEM'ing Sennheiser headphones beginning in 1989.  At its commencement in 1998, AuSIM immediately deepened the relationship by purchasing raw Sennheiser components to build specially designed headsets to meet AuSIM's specific requirements.  AuSIM and Sennheiser Government Systems began collaborative marketing and strategic product planning in 2002.
