General Description
The HS101 and HS102 are AuSIM's highest quality professional open
headsets. The combination of tracker mounting, open design,
sound quality and comfort make them a perfect solution for an augmented
reality environment.
Both designs use the excellent headband of the Sennheiser HD250, with
open, dynamic hi-fi stereo headphones. Either a dynamic or an
electret professional microphone is mounted on a heavy-duty, fully
adjustable boom, and includes a wind shield.
Because of their unique headband, the HS101/102 offer improved positional
accuracy when used with a head-position tracker. The top of the
band maintains a consistent distance from the listener's ears, regardless
of head size.
