General Description

The HS201 is a modified version of the basic Sennheiser HD250 headphones, with the addition of a high quality microphone and a mounting pad for a head-position tracker. They are closed dynamic hi-fi stereo headphones with the feel of an open design.

A professional microphone is mounted on a heavy-duty, fully adjustable boom. The microphones can be either dynamic or electret and include a wind shield.

Because of their unique headband, the HS201 offers improved positional accuracy when used with a head-position tracker.  The top of the band maintains a consistent distance from the listener's ears, regardless of head size.  The combination of tracker mounting, sound quality and comfort make them an excellent option for a VR environment.
