General Description

For users who need both open-style and closed-style headsets, AuSIM offers models which can be converted between the two modes.  AuSIM's HS301 combines HS101 and HS201, while HS302 uses muffs from HS102 and HS201.  The muffs snap in and out of the headband and have detachable cables, making it a quick task to switch between open and closed mode as needs change.  It is specifically targeted at customers who work both in the worlds of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. 

Both designs utilize the unique headband of the Sennheiser HD250, along with either a dynamic or an electret professional microphone mounted on a heavy-duty, fully adjustable boom.

Because of their unique headband, the HS301/302 offer improved positional accuracy when used with a head-position tracker.  The top of the band maintains a consistent distance from the listener's ears, regardless of head size.
