Informal A world-wide hardware "collective" established as a virtual community of resources for developing, launching, and scaling physical products.

Informal Spaces A physical community based in real, shared facilities developing, launching, and scaling physical products. There are currently 4 distributed Informal Spaces around the San Francisco Bay Area.

Facility fees are based on membership and flexible to cover space from a desk to an area and cover time from a day to a month. Community share fees are applied per regular user. There are typically 3 to 5 companies sharing the facility most of the time.
